John Bisnar - California Car Accident Attorney

You are here:  Home > About Us > John Bisnar

When John Bisnar was still a law student, he was seriously injured in a car accident. After hiring one of his law professors to handle his claim he quickly found out how ugly a case can become if you don't have the right lawyer. John's law professor didn't give John the representation he needed nor did he receive a fair settlement.

In 1978, John decided to start his own law firm based on one simple premise, "Do right by the clients and the profits will follow." After his horrible experience as a personal injury client, he felt that accident victims deserved compassionate guidance and spirited representation from a personal injury law firm. Today John continues to run his practice in just that manner.

Superior Client Representation

When you visit Bisnar | Chase you will find that any one of their employees can tell you the firms mission statement. Inspired by John's horrible experience as a personal injury victim the first phrase of the Bisnar | Chase mission statement is "To provide superior client representation in a compassionate and professional manner, while experiencing high job satisfaction and making our world a safer place."

This mission statement has applied to more than six thousand injured clients who have recovered hundreds of millions of dollars. As the founding partner of Bisnar | Chase, John takes personal responsibility for every client and every client's case.

Southern California Native, Military Veteran & Honor Graduate

In 1978, John received his J.D. degree from Pepperdine University School of Law. Two months later, he was admitted to the California State Bar.

John's Passions

When John is not in the courtroom winning challenging cases he can be found with his family. John is a devoted husband and father to three adult children and one grandchild. John & his wife Kimberly are avid word travelers. Soon, the couple will have traveled to all seven continents. If you were to ask John his passions his list would include Yoga, meditation, scuba diving, snow skiing, organic gardening, the Los Angeles Lakers and most of all Kimberly.

Teaches Client Care to Lawyers

John teaches other lawyers how to manage their office as well as client care techniques. While skimming the State Bar of California book you may notice that John has authored portions of their guide, "The California Guide to Opening and Managing a Law Office." He is also the author of, "The Seven Fatal Mistakes That Can Wreck Your California Personal Injury Claim," a book to assist non-attorneys in handling their own personal injury claims among others.
